I recently got an RCBC MyWallet VISA cash card so I can have my PayPal account verified (it is a completely different topic, I'll post about it soon). For those looking for information on how to check their account's balance online, read on.

If you who have an RCBC ATM savings account or the RCBC MyWallet cash card, there is a convenient and safe way to inquire your balance online without having to register through the BankNet portal. No need to go to a physical ATM machine!

Some banks also offers this capability to their customers. However, in most cases, you have to enroll first to their online banking system before you can perform a simple balance inquiry. RCBC also have their own online banking system where you can perform fund transfers and generate bank statements.

How to Check RCBC Savings / RCBC MyWallet Balance Online

1. Open up a browser and go to http://www.bancnetonline.com/cardholder.html

2. On the left sidebar navigation where it says choose your bank, click on the link for RCBC or RCBC Savings Bank.

* RCBC (commercial bank) is different from RCBC Savings Bank.

3. A pop-up window will appear displaying BancNet's Terms and Conditions in using the portal. Read the T&C then click on the "I Agree" button to proceed.

4. On the next screen, you will see the online ATM interface. Type in the ATM number found on the front of your card and choose the account type that you want to check (savings or checking). You can leave the member number as blank or input your card's security code found at the back when prompted.

5. Enter your ATM PIN number using the on-screen keyboard and hit on submit. The keypad numbers are randomly jumbled each time you access the portal so take a closer look.

Voila! You can now see your account's remaining balance.

Aside from checking your account balance, you can also perform other transactions through this portal. Transactions such as intrabank/interbank fund transfer, checkbook reorder, or viewing your transaction log.
